President Donald Trump intends to nominate former Sen. Scott Brown to be the U.S. ambassador to New Zealand, the White House announced Thursday. Brown represented Massachusetts in the Senate after winning a special election to replace the late Edward Kennedy, and later lost to Sen. Elizabeth Warren when he ran for a full term in 2012.
