Dunkin’ Donuts, part of Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc. , said Monday that it will have a nationwide free tasting event on May 19 for its new Frozen Dunkin’ Coffee. The drink, available starting Monday at participating restaurants, is made with Dunkin’ Donuts’ signature coffee, 100% Arabica, ice, and dairy. A flavor shot or swirl can be added. The free tasting will take place between 10am and 2pm at participating stores. Other blended, frozen beverages available at Dunkin’ Donuts include the Coolatta, available in flavors like strawberry and vanilla bean, and a Frozen Dunkaccino. Dunkin’ Brands shares are unchanged in premarket trading and up 20.1% for the last year. The S&P 500 index is up 15.4% for the last 12 months.
