Baidu Inc. shares rose in the extended session Thursday after the Chinese Internet giant topped Wall Street earnings estimates. Baidu U.S. shares advanced 2.5% to $173.31. The company reported adjusted earnings of $1.43 a share on revenue of $2.89 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated $1.24 a share on revenue of $2.9 billion.
