Victoria’ Secret parent L Brands August same-store sales fall 4%

Victoria’s Secret parent L Brands Inc. said Thursday same-store sales fell 4% in August, with the exit from the swim and apparel categories at Victoria’s Secret having a negative impact of about 2 percentage points. Total sales for the month fell 1% to $842.1 million. Shares were not yet active premarket, but are down 45% in 2017, while the S&P 500 has gained 9.8%.
