U.S. business inventories drop 0.2% in April

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) – U.S. business inventories fell 0.2% in April, the government said Wednesday. The inventory-to-sales ratio, an indication of demand, was unchanged at 1.37 months. At April’s sales pace, that’s how long it would take for businesses to clear their shelves.
