The candidates appear to be those whose names who have been widely circulated: the current Fed chair, Janet Yellen, as well as Fed Gov. Jerome Powell, former Fed Gov. Kevin Warsh, National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn and Stanford professor John Taylor.
