According to Bloomberg, it’s not clear whether the two companies are in talks and whether the initial deliberations will lead to a deal. Shares of United Technologies fell 0.4% in late trading. Rockwell Collins and United Technologies shares ended the regular session up 0.5% and 0.3%, respectively.
