Ohio Gov. John Kasich said Tuesday he is running for president, becoming the latest Republican to join the crowded field of GOP hopefuls. Speaking at Ohio State University, the former congressman said he has the skills and experience “for the most important job in the world.” Kasich ran the House Budget Committee when he was in Congress and has been Ohio governor since 2011.
