Medtronic acquires Medina Medical for $150 million

Medtronic PLC said late Monday that it acquired privately-held Medina Medical for $150 million. Menlo Park, Calif.-based Medina makes medical devices that treat vascular abnormalities in the brain, including aneurysms. Medtronic said it does not expect the acquisition to affect earnings for fiscal 2016.
