Media stocks were mixed in early trade Friday, with Time Warner , Walt Disney Co. and 21st Century Fox gaining after falling sharply in the last two sessions, while Netflix Inc. moved lower. The sector has been roiled this week as earnings from the big players showed a clear continuation of the trend of subscribers cutting the cord on their pay-TV packages in favor of cheaper streaming services. Time Warner was last up 3%, while Netflix lost 1.9%. Disney was up 0.6% and Comcast Corp. was up 0.9%. Dish Network Corp. slipped 0.3% and Viacom was down 0.3%.
