U.S. stocks opened higher on Thursday, building on the previous session’s rally with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising more than 200 points at the open. A rally in global equity markets followed a rebound in Chinese stocks. An upward revision to U.S. gross domestic product data also added to already optimistic mood. The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 200 points, or 1.2%, to 16,480, with all 30 members of the blue-chip index trading higher. The S&P 500 opened 24 points, or 1.3% higher at 1,964. The Nasdaq Composite began the day up 65 points, or 1.4% at 4,760.
