Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, if elected, will move quickly to nominate someone to serve as the Federal Reserve vice chairman for supervision, according to a Wall Street Journal report Tuesday. Aides for the Democratic presidential candidate have shared this plan with financial industry trade groups, the paper said, quoting two people familiar with the discussion. One source said the nomination could come as soon as the first three or four months of 2017. The report said the big question is what such a move would mean for Fed Governor Daniel Tarullo, who has informally filled that role.
