Avaya withdraws IPO after bankruptcy filing

Avaya Holdings Corp., a communications and technology company, withdrew its initial public offering, according to a filing Monday. Avaya said it is withdrawing the IPO because its principal U.S. operating subsidiary filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Avaya had filed to go public in June 2011.
