Apple Inc. said Tuesday that issues with its newest mobile operating system, iOS 10, have been resolved. The new software, released Tuesday, was rendering iPhone useless for some owners who sought to download the upgrade. In a statement, Apple said the issue affected ‘a small number of users’ and had been repaired, and instructed affected users to return to iTunes and attempt the download again. On a rough day for stocks, Apple was the only component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average recording a gain, with shares up about 2.5% after T-Mobile reported record preorders for the new iPhone 7.
