American Eagle Outfitters Inc. announced Thursday that Bob Madore has been selected as chief financial officer of the retailer, effective Oct. 28. Madore was most recently the CFO of Ralph Lauren Corp. . He replaces Scott Hurd, the chief accounting officer who has been acting as interim CFO. American Eagle shares are unchanged in premarket trading and up 15% year-to-date. The S&P 500 Index is up 6.2% for 2016 so far.
