Nightclub building set for foreclosure auction over $4.2M judgment

The dancehall that’s home to Club Pulse in Hollywood is set for auction after its owner lost a $4.2 million foreclosure judgment.

On May 16, 2520 Miami RD Capital LLC won the judgment against Dalco 84 LLC and managing member Lawrence Duprey over a $3.74 million loan, plus interest and fees. Club Pulse was not named in the complaint.

The 11,889-square-foot entertainment venue at 2520 Miami Road is set for online auction on June 21.

Twilio files to go public on the NYSE

Twilio Inc., the San Francisco-based company which enables developers to build communications within software applications, has filed for an initial public offering. The company plans to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange, under the symbol “TWLO.” Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan are the lead underwriters. The number of shares to be sold and the expected IPO price have not yet been determined. The latest valuation of the company, which has received $240 million in equity funding, is $1 billion, according to the WSJ. The company recorded loss of $6.5 million on revenue of $59.3 million in the first quarter, and a loss of $35.5 million on revenue of $166.9 million in 2015. Twilio had over 28,000 active customer accounts as of March 31, 2016.

Wells Fargo now offers 3% down payment mortgages

Cotiviti’s stock turns lower in its public debut

Shares of Cotiviti Holdings Inc. , which provides payment accuracy services to healthcare providers, fell below its initial public offering price in morning trade Thursday. The stock’s first trade was at $19 at 10:45 a.m. ET, matching the IPO price. It has since dropped 1.9% below that price to change hands at $18.65 in recent trade. The company sold 12.5 million shares at $19 each, to raise $237.5 million. The IPO was at the top of the expected pricing range of $17 to $19.

EIA reports 71 billion-cubic-foot rise in U.S. natural-gas supplies

Natural-gas futures fell on Thursday after the U.S. Energy Information Administration reported that supplies of the commodity rose 71 billion cubic feet for the week ended May 20. Analysts polled by S&P Global Platts forecast an increase of 68 billion cubic feet, on average. Total stocks now stand at 2.825 trillion cubic feet, up 756 billion cubic feet from a year ago and 769 billion cubic feet above the five-year average, the government said. June natural gas , which expires at the day’s settlement, fell 6.7 cents, or 3.4%, to $1.925 per million British thermal units. Prices traded at $1.965 before the report. July natural gas was down 4.3 cents, or 1.9%, at $2.139. It traded at $2.171 before the data.

The Sports Authority gift cards will expire on June 28

The Sports Authority said Thursday that June 28 is the deadline for customers to use their store gift cards. The sporting goods company, which is going through a liquidation process that will shut all of its stores by the end of August, is no longer selling gift cards. Wednesday was the deadline for customers to take advantage of customer loyalty rewards and use their Sports Authority credit cards. The loyalty program has now been terminated, and credit cards are no longer valid payment forms. Warranties are still in effect, and Sports Authority said Asurion will continue to honor extended warranties without interruption. Exchanges and returns can be made to Sports Authority stores through June 25.
